Environment
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources.

Our AECOM office in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking an Environmental Chemist to perform project chemist responsibilities which include procuring analytical laboratories and data validation subcontractors, interfacing and managing laboratory subcontractors, and assuring quality and compliance of laboratory data deliverables. Will coordinate with analytical lab and subcontractor data validation services. Assist Managers with chemistry related matters in preparation of planning documents and other project specific chemical criteria.

The qualified candidate must have 5-7 years experience in analytical chemistry or environmental chemistry. Experience with EPA analytical methods, data quality objectives, data acquisition, and data validation and management. Must be familiar with EPA DQO, DoD and UFP QAPP processes, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation laboratory methods and requirements. Educational Requirements: B.S. Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, or Analytical Chemistry, MS preferred.
