Adventure Apparel in the Hotel Captain Cook has an immediate opening for a full time sales associate. We are a local family owned business.
Applicants should posses excellent customer service skills, always greeting customers and maintaining a pleasant and helpful attitude as well as a neat, clean appearance at all times. Attention to detail, punctuality, telephone etiquette, honesty and professionalism are some of the important personality traits required of our employees.
Applicant must exhibit common sense at all times and excellent problem solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with management, co-workers and customers are crucial.
Responsibilities include operating a cash register, ten key calculator, credit card machine, fax and copier. In addition, inventories on merchandise and receiving, pricing, tagging, stocking and straightening merchandise as well as continuous cleaning and maintenance of the store and the displays to the highest level of neatness and visual appeal. This is not a sit down job and applicant must be able to lift forty pounds.
Salary depends on proven ability to work independently and perform assigned projects and daily tasks efficiently and effectively. Wage scale $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.
